Dr. LaRocque established the practice in 1994 after a long career as a medical officer in the United States Navy. He was Division Head of Endocrinology during his last 5 years of military service at the Portsmouth Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, Retired from U.S. Navy at the rank of Commander. Dr. LaRocque has special interests in diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis.
Our medical provider team also includes 1 nurse practitioner, Eileen Gilman, FNP-C, CCRC. She brings her own style and expertise to our practice.
Ms. Gilman, a family nurse practitioner since 1994, sees a variety of endocrine patients here in the office. In addition, Ms. Gilman is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator with over 125 clinical trials worth of experience. She has expertise in managing difficult-to-control diabetes as well as in all other areas of endocrinology. Her years of experience allow her to bring real-life practical advice to all of our patients.
